Thong Yang Bungalow is a hidden gem on the beach, offering a great value for money. The bungalows are clean and provide stunning ocean views. The hotel's attention to detail, like the comfortable balcony to enjoy the sunset, enhanced our experience. The staff were fantastic, making us feel like part of their Thai family.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant is cheap and really tasty although you sometime have to wait a little while. the room was basic but clean which we expected. free wifi in the rooms too. 10 mins drive from full moon party. and its literally on its own little beach which has a beautiful sunset xx

cold showers which is not a problem when its hot, but after a few rainy day really wanted hot water.

Thong Yang Bungalow is a little gem. I honestly was concerned what I going to be walking in to as it was soooo cheap during the peak season of Full Moon and New Year. But I was very pleasantly surprised. Incredibly cheap Very clean Very friendly Family run Fantastic food Trusting (both them to me and me to them) Not busy Intimate (few number of bungalows) so easy to make friends Private beach relaxing chill out area I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, it was a perfect location (just far enough away from the madness so I could dip in and out) with perfect people. I would definitely go back as a lone traveler, couple or group.

My mattress was a bit hard but can you really complain about that?? You need a moped to get around or be willing to pay for a taxi if you want to get out. They only charge 100 Baht per person for any journey so very reasonable and easy.

I had an amazing stay at this beachfront hotel. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures and the balcony view was breathtaking. The hotel has its own private beach, which was quiet and peaceful with very few people around. The hosts were some of the friendliest people I met during my trip and were extremely helpful with bike rentals and island recommendations. The hotel's restaurant had delicious food with reasonable prices.

While the location was beautiful, there were limited amenities nearby. It was necessary to rent a scooter to explore the island or go into town.
